Journalists can take course on reporting HIV/AIDS

Journalists across the globe can apply for full- and part-funded bursaries to attend a course in Bangkok, Thailand, entitled "Reporting HIV/AIDS," from November 10 to 14. Deadline to apply: September 15.

This course is designed to encourage journalists to write with more confidence on a range of issues surrounding HIV/AIDS – sociological, developmental, economic and clinical.

Applicants should be reporters and feature writers in mainstream media who cover HIV/AIDS issues and have about five years of experience.

Reuters Foundation offers full bursaries for journalists from the developing world/countries in political transition working for organizations with no resources for training as well as part-funded bursaries based on eligibility.
